The materials of cross flat head screws include stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, brass, etc.
1.stainless steel : including 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties, suitable for most general environments. 316 stainless steel added molybdenum on the basis of 304 stainless steel, has stronger corrosion resistance and acid and alkali resistance, suitable for Marine and chemical environment.
2. carbon steel : divided into low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and high carbon steel. Low carbon steel (such as Q235) is affordable, moderately strong and suitable for general mechanical connections, but has poor corrosion resistance and usually requires surface treatment (such as galvanizing). Medium carbon steel (such as 45 steel) has higher strength and hardness, suitable for high-strength mechanical connections, but also requires surface treatment to improve corrosion resistance.
3.alloy steel : including 40Cr steel and 35CrMo steel. 40Cr steel has high strength, high hardness and good wear resistance, which is suitable for high-strength mechanical connections, but requires surface anti-corrosion treatment. 35CrMo steel has excellent strength and toughness, suitable for high-stress, high-load environments, and is often used in special machinery and aerospace fields.
4. brass : brass screw has good corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity, suitable for electronic and electrical equipment, but the mechanical strength is low.
