   LEAD(Pb) washer : Lead (Pb) washers are ring-shaped components made of lead, and their uses are primarily derived from lead's unique properties such as softness, excellent ductility, and certain resistance to specific media. Here is a detailed description of their applications: In industrial and mechanical fields, the core function of lead washers is sealing. Due to lead's soft nature, it can easily deform under external pressure, tightly fitting the contact surfaces of connected parts and filling tiny gaps on the surfaces. This effectively prevents the leakage of gases, liquids, and other media. They are widely used in scenarios such as pipe joints, connections between valves and pipes, and sealing positions of pressure vessels, especially in low-pressure or low-temperature environments where high sealing performance is required and the flatness of contact surfaces is limited.

Additionally, lead exhibits a certain degree of resistance to some specific corrosive media (such as dilute sulfuric acid and certain organic acids).
